Become a Citizen

The Kissi Kingdom welcomes those who share our values of heritage, sovereignty, and service. Citizenship in one of Africa's oldest monarchies is a distinction earned through merit, lineage, or sovereign grace.

Citizenship in the Kissi Kingdom is a bond of belonging — a connection to a living heritage dating to the 1300s. Whether by birth, naturalization, honorary recognition, or humanitarian protection, every citizen is registered in the Civil Registry and receives a unique KK-CRN identification number, granting access to sovereign documents, protections, institutions, land, banking, education, and the full resources of the Kingdom — all under the authority of the Royal House of Kamanda.

Pathways

Paths to Citizenship

Born Citizen

KK-CRN-B

A person born within the sovereign territory of the Kissi Kingdom or to citizens of the Kissi Kingdom. Birthright citizenship is automatic and irrevocable under sovereign law.

Requirements

  • Born within Kissi Kingdom sovereign territory, OR born to at least one parent who holds Kissi Kingdom citizenship
  • Birth must be registered with the Civil Registry within twelve (12) months of birth
  • Verified lineage documentation presented to the Registrar
  • Issuance of sovereign birth certificate by the Civil Registry

Naturalized Citizen

KK-CRN-N

A person who has been granted full citizenship through the formal naturalization process by sovereign decree. Naturalization demands the highest standard of merit, character, and contribution — comparable in rigor to the recognition required for a Nobel Prize or equivalent global distinction.

Requirements

  • Formal written petition for citizenship submitted to the Civil Registry
  • Demonstrated exceptional and sustained contribution to humanity, culture, science, diplomacy, or the advancement of the Kissi people
  • Endorsement by no fewer than two (2) current citizens of good standing or one (1) member of the Royal House
  • Comprehensive background verification and character assessment
  • Completion of the Sovereign Knowledge Examination covering Kingdom history, law, and values
  • In-person or certified oath of allegiance ceremony before the Registrar or designated royal authority
  • Approval by sovereign decree of Her Royal Highness, the Regent Princess

Honorary Citizen

KK-CRN-H

A distinguished individual granted honorary citizenship by royal proclamation for extraordinary service, merit, or contributions of global significance to the Kingdom and its people. This designation is reserved for individuals whose accomplishments have materially advanced the sovereign mission.

Requirements

  • Formal nomination by a current citizen, sovereign official, or member of the Royal House
  • Documented history of extraordinary achievement — comparable in distinction to a Nobel laureate, head of state, or equivalent global figure
  • Evidence of direct contribution to the Kingdom, its institutions, or its humanitarian mission
  • Review and approval by the Royal Council
  • Proclamation by sovereign decree
  • No formal residency requirement, though continued engagement with the Kingdom is expected

Dual Citizen

KK-CRN-D

A person holding citizenship of both the Kissi Kingdom and another recognized nation-state. The Kingdom fully recognizes dual citizenship and does not require renunciation of any other nationality. Dual citizens carry the full weight of sovereign protection alongside their existing national identity.

Requirements

  • Hold active citizenship in another recognized nation-state
  • Meet all requirements for at least one other citizenship category (Born, Naturalized, or Honorary)
  • Declaration of dual status filed with the Civil Registry
  • No conflict of allegiance — the Kingdom does not demand exclusive loyalty, but expects adherence to sovereign law while under Kingdom jurisdiction

Humanitarian Citizen

KK-CRN-HM

A person granted citizenship under the Humanitarian Civilian Registration Program. This pathway exists for individuals displaced by conflict, persecution, or crisis who seek sovereign protection under the authority of the Kissi Kingdom.

Requirements

  • Submit application through the Humanitarian Civilian Registration Program (KK-CRN-H series)
  • Demonstrate verified need for sovereign protection, humanitarian refuge, or stateless relief
  • Comprehensive background review by the Civil Registry and humanitarian affairs division
  • Approval by the humanitarian affairs authority and countersigned by the Registrar
  • Issuance of Humanitarian Laissez-Passer pending full registration
Royal House

Royal Designations

Royal designations are reserved exclusively for members of the Royal House of Kamanda. These are not applied for — they are recognized by sovereign authority and bloodline verification alone.

Regent

KK-CRN-RG

The sovereign authority serving as Regent of the Kissi Kingdom, exercising royal governance on behalf of the Crown. The Regent holds the highest office of state and exercises supreme authority over all sovereign matters.

Royal Family — Direct Lineage

KK-CRN-RD

A member of the Royal House of Kamanda by direct bloodline descent — immediate royal family. Direct lineage members are part of the core royal succession and carry full sovereign privileges.

Royal Family — Extended Lineage

KK-CRN-RE

A recognized member of the extended Royal House of Kamanda through verified ancestral connection. Extended lineage members carry royal heritage, recognition, and specified sovereign privileges.
